Entering isn't critical, I won't be entering whatever I decide to take. Although, to look committed, I'll wash the vehicle saturday.

        I'm definitely going

Remember everyone entry is off the roundabout at the end (basically where all the plush buildings are).

I went to VWCSA meeting Wednesday it sounds like they have everything worked out and are keen to see VWwA Adelaide members turn up

So don't disappoint or else ........

You may be the only one in the class. Be a shame if we had to take the trophy home.

            Just to clarify the situation;
Once, we were able to allow on oval parking for $2. The Holdfast Bay Council said Oh no you don't!. Every car on the oval either has to be an entrant, or have a permit to park on the oval. This is policed by council Security who check for permits.

So, if you have to pay $15, you may as well have your VW judged, and enjoy the day.

            Now, ONE WEEK TO GO!!

            Time to get busy.

Saturday is going to be one busy day by the looks of it! Got a whole heap of bits to get on and fix, cars not even in a state where it should be driven, broken stuff sucks

Will be a great show though, cant wait

Yep, I'll be busy washing and polishing on Saturday - hope I get enough time. It's likely though that it'll be dirty again by Sunday morning

Ha! In years gone by I just used to rock up (in the golf and before that the beetle) and park on the lawn to one side without paying anything. Ooops!

I still wanted to win 'Worst Paint Job' for the bug...

For those concerned about dusty cars on the morning of Sunday 29th, there's the BP DIY wash on the corner of Henley Beach & Tapleys Hill Road - good enough for a rinse n wipe over before heading into glenelg.

I'll also have some gear with me at the reserve if anyone wishes to borrow

I saw that - just wondering if there was any flexibilty.

Thanks, good to know. A last minute rinse may be in order.

                            There is some flexability.

if i got there around 10:30ish would that cause any grief? i take it similar cars would ideally be grouped together so dont want to stuff things around by being 'late'...

just a little worried that i wont get there by 9 as ill still have my beer goggles on from the night before lol
