Hi all.

No I'm not a morning person. But I'm a driving down to byron in 10am old person weekender traffic person even less.

Anyway. I'm out for organising this for March. Cut a long story short, dad is going in for surgury, and I'm not going to have the time to organise anything. Pending how his recovery goes I might be able to come along, but thats still a might.

Will have to skip this one, I think. What with a Kiwi hol in Feb., possibly the nationals in Sydney in May, and Euro June/July ... think I'll be as busy as a one armed paper-hanger and playing 'hooky' from the chemo ward as well.

29.12. Weller Rd Browns Plains. Just started from trafic lights, pres clutch, change gear from first to second ... and ... 76km/h ... and BLIC BLIC ... nice and clear picture ... 3 points ... $150 ... BYE BYE for 3 months (already lost 9 points ... all for speeding). End of story - end of licence.

It's likely that the sixth cruise organised after this one, I may have some issues attending. I don't have a reason yet but I will start to organise one once the forth cruise's thread is created and finalise closer to the date of the fifth cruise.
I still like your original idea Dave for the sunrise etc. Stick with it.

I'd put aside April atm for this one. On the plus side, sunrises are later then.

Plenty of time then for everyone to get organised and to make sure this is a good one. Pre-book the carpark, make sure everyone is clear on the route and itinerary etc.

Or take it to local court, re financial hardship / loss of job. Even with a lawyer ( totally uneccessary in hindsight ) it only cost me a few hundy to have my licence back pretty much on the day, with an apology from the judge for wasting my time with all "minor" speeding offences. I'm sure the business attire, lawyer and picking an outer city courthouse helped, most of the following defendants wore thongs, metallica T's, made it pretty darn easy.
