Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Righto! Whose going to commit to Saturday evening the 19th Aug? Anyone want to organise this, All I know about melbourne is that once you sail through the heads you keep going around to the right, then straighten up till you run out of bay/water.

I work at ford, I drive them all the time. Not by choice.

I'll organise it (Port Melbourne), I'll find out a cost per head, post it then whomever is in 100% can PM me.

Saturday 19th evening possibly about 7pm???

                  Figures are in...
Now what kind of race, and the cost, is all dependant on the number of confirmed people we have coming. A 50% deposit of the cost is required buy the person orgainsing so if 8 people confirm at $95 a head thats $380 deposit, so that's why I say you must be 100% sure you're coming. I don't want to be left paying for people who don't show up.

If we have 8-14 people we get an hour of track time (warm up, qualifying and a race) The cost for this number of people is $95 per head.

If we have 15-28 people we get 1.5 hours of track time. Cost $90 per head.

If we have 29-40 people we get a 2hours and 15 mins of track time. Cost of $80 per head.

The times available for the 19th are arrive at 6:30pm start at 7pm.

I need to book by Monday

I think it'll be most likely that there'll be either the 1st or 2nd option, with the 2nd being obviously better value.

PM me ASAP if you're coming, with your mobile or contact number, name etc.
