Sometimes they work good if they are in the middle too. Northsiders have a small meet and cruise down, southsiders / goldy people do the same. Brings everyone together in their smaller local groups, then everyone together as a whole.

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I'm not new and I don't particularly want to go for a long drive either!
I'd have no second thoughts about being involved in more of a meet and greet day.
We don't even have local groups that I know of! Probably the biggest thing I miss about the old Mazda club, were the fortnightly Wednesday night social meets - great time to meet and talk about who got what/from where etc.Last edited by 572; 10-10-2008, 09:39 PM.

Even if it has to be Cootha this time; just test the waters, see how it goes?
I'm just brainstorming here, but other places we use to meet were - Kangaroo Point cliffs (top or bottom), under Story Bridge, top of Indro Shopping Centre carpark. Bear in mind it was mid-week.
