Thanks Paul for an awesome event, really enjoyed it. Thanks Guile, the mk1 was certainly by far the oldest car in the group! Mranrex, I'll be in touch.

Thanks Paul for organising another great track event & thanks to everyone participating who drove sensibly to make it a safe event.
A couple of observations:
It was interesting to see how quickly & early this event filled suggesting (1}Lakeside is the more popular venue & (2) Sunday is the more popular day.
It was surprising to see the 81 Mk1 GTI accelerate at the start of the main straight overtaking some of our more recent enhanced mounts.
Look forward to seeing everyone at the next event.

100%, I have only ever done a couple at QR, it is just too hard on brakes & tyres for a road car if you're giving it a good nudge. Lakeside is just such great fun, even at a fairly moderate pace.
