I know that car well,left many messages on it for years when it was in the carport worked on it over 20 years ago and it's worth top dollar. Not many early Golf's around like that anymore-anywhere.

I agree with Stanton, 11K for a non-GTI, Australia built LS is too much, regardless of what condition.
If it's a German built it'd worth more.

So 20 years ago makes that 1996 not 1976.
Who is to say that it didn't get any moisture in it in the first 20 years,I'd seen the poorly built LS's with water leaks while still quite new.
Then had another 30 years to fester.Not my cup of tea for 11k.

Worth every penny.
We'd all love to have it. It's in great condition - look at that interior, the dashboard.
It would take more that $11k to get a Mk1 to that condition

As I said it is in really good condition when i saw it 20 years ago and just a few years ago and no it didn't rain in canberra for about 10 years in the drought.
