That's Matt/Golf Loons old mk2 car that I then bought and Matt helped me get it resprayed. Solid as anything - no rust. See previous thread on red mk2 small bumper as it was advertised on Gumtree by the guy I sold it to in Melb. It's a 2.0 bottom end, big valve head, early lifter head. Totally rebuilt kjet, both pumps, injectors, etc. etc. The guy who bought it has the old wheels back on (these had new Potenzas when I sold it) and has changed the classic 4 light grill for the Golf CL look (?!). Had a big box of spares including Techtonics race cam and shims, lights etc. Goes great and has Koni shocks and coil overs on the front and beefy roll bars. I spent a load of time on it - someone should buy it and keep it!

Found it up for sale again. Now double the price of what it was advertised from last owner. Hate people that do this

People have right to ask for any price, just let the market tell. If I want to spend $10K, I'd buy the Mk1 campaigne GTI though.
