Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

        It's a work in progress...

        The colour isn't exactly subtle or from the traditional Audi pallet, but I don't completely hate it.

        The wheels and front mount (or lowering in the rear only??) are another story.

        If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

                  It can't be lowered at the front because the double height sik intercooler is already nearly dragging on the road...

                      I was following a Honda Integra with a massive wing on the back tonight that had pretty much that same awful paint job.
                      Some say he was the Stig... all we know is that he drives a VW Transporter.

                        A 340,000k's old, non-running '96 A4 for $7k?

                        With terrible wheels and a front mount that will eject and be run over at the first sign of trouble.

                          I'm tempted to ask if the wreaking car includes the biggest mistake in automotive history... Even then I'd ask for $1k knocked off the price at least.

                          It makes me furious when ricers get a hold of nice cars. They need to stick to there Hondas and Nissans.
