Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

      Might have been cheaper to strip it for spares than rebuild it. Might have made more cashola.

        motor, gear box, brakes, seats and a few other bits and pieces wouldn't be too far behind that price if in good condition and sold separately... so maybe not too bad?

                Well with 2 hrs to go its above $8k...... he'll be struggling to break even if he paid 5.5 for the wreck.
