8.5 on a spring and shock combo will fill up the front of a MK4. COULD be made to fit with some serious guard rolling though? go get a tape and measure from your shock to the guard.
yeah, i don't like our chances. tommy's R32 scrubs with 8.5 CH's. its a nice height though (low).
unless we can shave the offset down - maybe... but a lot of modifying then.
i like the way people say "get some balls and buy these" while the guys who say it dont buy jack all for there cars., hot wheels tho/.
You're nothing but a puss filled sore on the arse of VWW

9" on the front would be pushing it unless you ran camber and stretched tyres i recon

Id be more worried about the poke/gaurd clearence.
8" with ET45 clears on standard suspension and JUST touched my coilovers
so run that through the offset calculator vs the 9" ET30, 2mm more clearence (nice) and 28mm of poke compared to the 8" ET45
compare the 9" ET30 to 8.5 ET35 (the CHs yes??), 1m less inner and 11mm more outside clearence.
So i wouldnt be shaving the offset to put it any closer to the strut. Unless the golfs and R32s are that much different to the boras?

So as per the forum rules under personal attacks, are you going to delete your own post and give yourself an infraction lol. Rules are rules bud and put there for a reason. Super moderators should know that more than anyone, lead by example
As for the wheels, also keep in mind the centrebore will most probably be for suabru fitment (needing hubrings or to be bored out), and the wheel lug holes will probably be 12mm instead of the 14mm required for VW. it's a cheap fix but these will not be a straight swap over.

I don't agree with RhysQ very often.. Well, probably ever, really.. But he's right dude. I got banned for having a way more subtle and less harsh shot at someone not so long ago...
Hey which forum was this from?
I ask, because in my mad search for wheels, I swear I saw this ad on subaru forum, and the dimensions were different. Am I mistaken? The width isn't THAT bad, but the offset is icing on the cake (for ill-fitment).
