After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

I saw them too.
The ram is so small though, like 128MB so it will struggle to run anything.
Could be good to hook the Vagcom up to though if you an get it running windows. -

Bottom line though, if you can get one of the windows based devices (or a cheap netbook) they make the perfect VAG-COM/Autronic/tuning computer to leave in your car, hell putting a netbook together with a $500 7" touch screen LCD and you can build yourself a pretty nifty car-puter in nothing flat for very little $$.

I have been looking at these thinking they could be ok. No Flash pushes me away from the Ipad (and the massive price tag). but i would really want a 'a-Pad' that can use 3G mobile. I was impressed to see them running andriod and not some bag of crap chinese OS they knocked up in a few mins.
