Golf mk2 for sale whole or for wrecking.

Found on gumtree in sydney at this site:

    Golf mk2 wrecking

guy doesn't want much money for it i dont think. has some useful booty - ie mk3 256mm brakes, warm cam etc. body panels in good condition, albeit quite faded. has epic roof rust and no yellow compliance plate = wont be registered again.

cream leather interior that's slightly mouldy but otherwise in good nick. ( not the door cards, they're completely trashed.

good for parts and or bin.

called the owner today, he said he wouldn't take any less than $1000 for the car or $700 with microtech..

Don't think he's had a look at it for a while... i saw it yesterday, as did he.

i'm pretty sure everything is seized, ie brakes, engine. The gearbox spat a cog or a diff or something and it well broken.

tyres are flat, interior is waterlogged and quite mouldy. shame.

would have been quite nice in its hey day. there's a neuspeed tie bar on the front and probably a whole bunch of aftermarket efi goodies + random booty

the rain tray was literally full of water though...

Engine looks pretty clean. Shame about the rust, is it really that bad?
Anyone know if the seats will fit in the Mk1 Cabby?

front seats will fit in a mk1, 2, corrado, scirocco.

rear seats are a completely different story.

rust is pretty much through the roof....

              Why a 1.9? Isn't the standard mod to fit a 2 litre?
