Posting eBay links

There appears to be an issue with posting links to ebay.

So if you try to link an item you have found by searching for an ID number it fails, but if you jump into the users listed items, then click on the item again it gets a slightly different link which works fine. Still trying to work out why one link works and the other does not.

Hopefully the workaround makes sense and people have less issues.

Most of the extra garbage relates to tracking cookies and your session id

What you can do though is shorten the link yourself
All you need is ebay.com.xx/itm/123456789 where xx is the country it is listed on


Or even just list the item number as pasting that into the search bar will bring up the item
