I reckon $5K is a good price if thats what it goes for. But wouldn't you really need to know what the engine damage really is before buying it anyway?
If the cylinders are buggered, how easy is it to bore them? I am sure a 2.8L bored and stroked and then with some sort of forced induction would be great?

the car has been water damaged and listed as a repairable writeoff. Who knows what the extent of the water damage is. The interior looks like it has been wet.
Id be very careful buying something like that.

If you had that... then import Vert1's supercharged bora as "non registerable" spareparts vehicle then transfer the good bits to your Bora and track the other!
