This one has been advertised for ages, seems and looks reasonable. I was thinking about this one but bought mine with less k's. Some one do yourself a favour and buy it. I'm sure its DBP...It can look darker or lighter depending on the light. In some angles the colour on each of the panels can look different in photos aswell.

redbook values on the mk4 r32s are getting stupidly low!
They all seem to be advertised between 30 - 35k still though. It would be interesting to hear what prices they are actually being sold at. Id love to add one to my garage oneday.

50% depreciation in 5 years is pretty normal Tim, 25k is the going price atm. MKV's have already dipped under the 40's and are around 35k for a nice 06'.

I love the noise, but the narrow angle six just worked in the MK3, and I'm just not game enough to go through it all over again!

I had the offer of one for 28 K about three months back with some decent mods and about 60 K on the clock.

You would want to get that one down to about 26 K or less.

Redbook cant always be trusted. Have a look at the specs on the Bora 4mo's, it lists the specs from the 4 cylinder version. Ever since they updated the system to the current format there's heaps that are wrong

Yes lets make it sound even more exclusive than it actually is. Don't know if the guy doesn't know what he's talking about or is being intentionally misleading.

With the mods this one is kind of realistic. Especially since the brakes have been replaced.

100 came in DBP. With the kms it should be cheaper than this even though the kms don't actually matter that much.

                      A little pricey but average.

This car will always have prices all over the place especially their numbers start to dwindle and they come up for sale for less and less. That said we still got to be real about things.

Yep DBP changes dramatically under all different types of light. It'll be the right colour.

64k RRP. Only 50% depreciation for European car is pretty good. I'd be expecting 60 or more for other cars. Not sure what you mean about the last bit. The VR6 works very well.

Aside from pulling off the front bar and other basic stuff no. But that's what mechanics are for.
And how often do you hear about R32 owners blowing their engine that they have to pull the thing apart?

Its not about blown motors, (which do tend to happen around 160k+ with the lovely timing chain guides etc.) but just general to medium servicing. Ever tried changing even just a lower coolant hose on your car? On a VR6 you have to drop the engine mounts out just to change some of the most basic things, which the 1.8T/2.0L/T guys take for granted, hence my point.

They're all unnecessarily difficult and expensive to service because of the design, which isn't all to bright when you compare it to the FI motors. Its a massive compromise to have a few more horses stock for stock to have such a lower amount of reliability in the long run due to the heat in the engine bay and the difficulty in servicing due to the size/positioning of the motor in the bay.

And they're not all that fast either, my VR6 is only marginally slower than one as I found out not long ago. I'm honestly not trying to bag the car out, I just think that all the 6's are flawed, and the R32 just happens to be the most so

I'm just lucky my mate is a mechanic, otherwise I wouldn't be able to keep the car tbh.
