yeah i was looking at this seriously considering buying it...but it seems like you guys disagree? something i need to know about its history?
i thought a nice set of 15 by 8" mini superlites and a few cosmetic changes might go down well...
Well for me, and please remember that this is just my opinion, I think it is about 2k over what it is worth. So it has a 16v. What about the brakes? Are they up to the task? The gearbox? Is it anything special or just a stock 5 speed with the shoddy linkage shift. Suspension would still be stock or worse. And Kjet injection is puss. No good for a high rpm engine.
And to top it off, NO REGO!
Thats why I wouldnt buy it. But thats just me. I am more of a go than show kinda guy.
It is the one that sold on carsales for $1K (which was when my friend sold it)... one of the guys who bought it was a mechanic - all that was wrong with it was a fuel pump. They've put a rabbit badge on the back of it. So, it may be that they've put the price up by $2500 for parts which cost $150 (fuel pump and rabbit badge) ... or, they've done a really quick and really impressive total overhaul of it... If you're thinking of buying it you should ask what circumstances changed and why they're selling it on so quickly... cheers vg
