Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • WA WTB: Forge wastegate for k04 1.8t

    Hi guys.
For those that don't know, i'm running an AMK 1.8T with the standard K04 turbo in my mk2.

Having some boost fluctuations and found the stock wastegate is knackered...

I'm after a 14psi Forge replacement one if anyone has one, or knows where i can get one?

    Cheers

Alternate would be mamba or kinguawa ones. Both same brand and kinguawa have great reviews

      Cool.

I had a look but could only find Kinugawa ones for Jap cars. The Mamba one looks pretty good though!
