Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC WTB MK1 shafts and exhaust

    Hi fella's

chasing some parts, this post will update regularly so I don't make up too many WTB's.

**Mk1 lowering springs if anyone has. Want to go low but use standard shocks. If anyone has anything please let me know

**Also chasing some small bits for a mk1/2 genuine slide sunroof. I know there barely any parts for those locally, but if anyone has a stash, please speak up hehe

    Thanks lots
    George

                            Hi George,

I've got the front springs from a set of koni lowered springs, if you google they are the blue ones. I bought them second hand, but they had not been used. I tried them but thought they were too low and hard for my tastes. Let me know if these are any good for you.
