VIC WTB MK1 Golf front wheel bearings

Hey all,

Does anyone in Vic have a pair of front wheel bearings to sell (new or in ok cond)?

You can order them in at any auto parts place, they're easy to get.

They're the same as used in one of the first gen Hyundai Excels.

You can't really use secondhand ones them unless you grab complete uprights with good bearings in them. Usually the bearings get destroyed as part of the removal process.

I read your tutorial the otherday. Great stuff! Looks like I'll be welding up a shop press tonight.

Are you able to confirm the bearing dimensions?

From what I can tell Barina bearings should fit. They are 34id 64od and 37wide.

Look like the one. OEM part number is 171 407 625 D Google searches are showing it as 34x64x37
