Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

        no probs mate, I can get a quote if you pm the pick up address, I can measure and weigh my own window frame so should be pretty accurate. Are you still of to remove the frame from the roof mech please, should only be 4 bolts if I remember correctly...

          Window frame assembly is still attached but will remove if you want this.

          Postcode here is 6057 but can prob drop off at a courier depot if required.

            going to LA in June if that helps should fit in one of the suitcases if you can source it and pay I live in Fernvale and my son in LA so they may deli free post to him and I bring it back in July..I have just acquires Cabrio EFI 1.8L 5 speed factory unit with Qld compliance after LHD to RHD conversion ?? so looking for parts myself like a good Hood. Have you tried vwheritage Aus?? we can combine orders to save postage. My son lives in Mt Gravatt so we do get in our way regularly...interested? what parts do you have for mine...if any??

              Have messaged Igor about the roof frame and new hood he has, no answer yet but will call on the weekend and get things moving.
