I'm searching for a 2L 16v short block. 9A would be great or if there's a seat equivalent. But must be a short block not ABF.

I've got a feeling that the mk31.8 8v block can be used if you bore it to the same spec. Might be worth looking into

Have manifolds but sorry not for sale at this point in time.

Do you require upper , lower or complete as I can obtain one from the US for you.

Pete my KR is being bored for 9A pistons + 92.8 forged crank for a low buck volume increase
Do the 1.8 8V blocks have piston squirters ?? ( need get of my butt and check ETKA lol)

See if you can get me a price on a 50mm one inc shipping. (A complete one) if you wouldn't mind.

The only 1.8 blocks from that era that have oil squirters are PG and 1H.

Why are you after a 9a motor when you have an ABF? I thought they were identical except the 9a is lower spec?

I've got this sitting in the garage, took it out of a MK1.

Head is stamped 053 and block 051



The plan is to fit it into my MK2 but if I could find an ABF I'd prefer to use that.
