    This is the only DSG box ive seen advertised for a long time. Might be more than you were hoping to spend though. Are you aware that there are several different DSG boxes (eg 6 speed wet clutch, 7 speed wet clutch and 7 speed dry clutch).

    The 7 speed dry clutch (used in low torque versions of the Polo and Golf) are the ones that commonly have issues. The wet clutch models (although not perfect) are far more robust and reliable.

    As the title states, we are after a DSG to do some in-house R&D. Not after the mechatronics, just the box (but don't mind if we get the lot). Will pay freight for interstate shipping if the price is right.
    Any broken or unwanted gearboxes out there? I don't really mind what it's out of.
