T5 transporter double passenger seat!

hey guys i have been looking everywhere for a double bench passenger seat for my t5.
i have a swivel seat that i could trade if needed. i realize these can be super hard to find in aus! can anyone point me in the right direction!

Are you sure you really want one? They are uncomfortable, and have no adjustment. While this does not bother me in my van as the driver, anyone that has to sit there for a length of time, will hate it.

Oh really? I didn't know that and I suppose I'm not going to be sitting in it too often. Because my van is set up as a camper I don't have any room in the back for a seat

The other downside would be that you would not be able to just get into the back without getting out of the van , not very pleasant if its raining . Do you carry extra passengers or is it a necessity of family numbers .

Yeah I did think of that but I really need the extra seat. I'm oftern traveling up and down the coast to surf and always seem to be one short! Do you guys know of anyone selling one at all? Or maybe where I could get one? They seem really hard to find!

Ok I gave them a call the guy said 1250! I think that's abit expensive. I'm from canberra and I can't find any here. Does anyone know of any other good wreckers around aus? Thanks heaps!

Yeah thanks! I gave them a call they are more like $900-$1000 but they won't have any for a month or two!

Hey frank! That sounds great! I'm not 100% sure if the new ones fit the exact same as my 2004 but if they did I would love to buy it? Send me a PM with the price if you like.

The mounting points will not have changed from 2004 T5 right up to 2013 so should be fine to transplant . But make sure you get the certification done as RTA will come down hard if you do not change the vehicle carrying capacity .
