Nice! Count me in, then!
In my current car, my phone will stream via Bluetooth, but the MDI equivalent will not recognize it. Go figure. (It's not a vw, BTW)

Thanks. What a straight-forward listing! The seller obviously isn't interested in marketing it to anyone other than VW enthusiasts or those in the know (works for me).
I see the condition is listed as "new-other", but the seller doesn't further explain this. Do we know if the units are factory seconds or defects, or just not in original packaging?
The install is pretty straight forward if your feeling adventurous. Don't forget though, the gti has drawers under the front seats. I placed the bluetooth unit between the carpet and firewall under the glovebox.
It also definately doesnt fit behind the rns510 in a polo gti without comfort pack.
bluetooth should be standard imo.
GOLF GTi MY12 DSGSOLD

The actual VW manual still shows the install under the front seats with the drawers so it can be done, unfortunately for us who have cars coming that are MY11.5 spec, we don't get the drawers
Ok, so shipping for 10+ units will be around the USD100 mark, units he will do at USD300 which includes the module, all cables and the microphone.
So, based on the aussie dollar, it will cost AUD50! Awwww, poor wittle american dollar that is worf nuffing...
Ha Ha, no seriously, it will be 310 USD which is basically 310 AUD. I will organise separate shipping costs to our interstate persons once the units arrive, vic peoples, feel free to pick up from me.
So, do we go ahead? If so, I will need a response by monday 18/4/2011
At that price, I am in. But at this stage I can not transfer funds until next Friday (good idea to spec when you would need the funds in your account by Gavs - trust me)
Like I said, happy to get Brissie units posted to me for pickup from Mt Gravatt (home) or Virginia (work)
May even host an install day (especially if someone has a VagComm to code the installs...)
Al..
Edit: Not a bad idea to list in the first post all the details, including who EOI'd, who has committed, when you need funds by and how much it is going to be.
Also, with the $ less than 1 AT THE MOMENT, perhaps propose that if there are any remaining funds they be donated to VWWC to keep it clean. ($310 US currently = $295 AUD). We don't want to see you out of pocket though...
