Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I didn't realise it until you said that, but now all i can see is an A3 with a golf front end lol.

    Still looks ace though.

      haha

      hmmm RS4's on a dark 4dr...

Honestly, I think RS6's are the winner...just hope they have rep's in 5x100

what I would really like is Aristo's or flat 5's (not fat 5s) but slim chance of getting a set in Aus

      flat 5's...

new contender...didnt realise they make Aristo copies

cant beat bright silver aristos on a black golf, anyone seen the quality of the copies? do they look good?

          not copies:

To be honest, i would go with the RS6's.

The aristo's look okay but they are more of a sporty wheel (They did come from an .:R32)

The RS6's just look really nice on a black car as they are bulky enough to stand out, the aristo's don't really do justice to a black car.

I know what you mean about sporty, and I did say I didn't want anything sporty, but I like the design of the Aristos and how well they appear to fill the guards out.

cant agree with you about the black car thing though, that black 2door I posted on Aristos really does it for me!

Well then it seems you are set.
Go the Aristo's and rock them.
That was easy wasn't it lol.

haha 40 posts to decide on a set of wheels? I wouldn't call that easy!

appreciate everyone's input, I'll let you know how I go

I like most of these wheels but I think they depend so much on the decked probably 'not-daily-friendly' ride height. I'm interested to see how you go though mate, I've liked the look of Aristos for a while.
