I bought these roof bars a few weeks ago and fitted them to my car (they are the all black version to match the Wolfsburg and cost $50 more than silver):

Unfortunately they are a few mm too low to have them on and open the sunroof. My attempts to adapt them with a rubber spacer were unsuccessful so I reluctantly bought the high VW genuine versions (they don't look as good, but they work with the sunroof).
If you don't have a sunroof, or don't want to open it with the roof bars on, or are more technically minded than me you can save $100 off my purchase price at $379.
