Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

                    Hey.

Considering coils, how adjustable are they front/back (mm)?

Also reason for sale? been used for race or just too firm or?

                    Cheers

                      Hey Man,

I can't seem to find the the manufacturers spec but I roughly measured the tread length. Front: 110mm Rear: 75mm. Hopefully that helps.

Returned to stock because I'm selling the car. Definitely not too firm, they are firmer than stock, but i prefer them over stock. ride and handle better than stock.

Feel free to PM if you want to discuss further

Fair enough, no other problems? Seem to be fairly decent condition. Just worried it won't lower it enough as I am going 17's. I think I found the heights though.

                        Part Number: WI13281015 ?

Apparently it's on the sticker on one of or all of the coils, mind providing? I will find out.

Nup no problems. I've run my stock 17's and looked good. Images of my car below. The rears were maxed out and front had heaps of thread left.

Nup that's not the code. I took a photo of the box sticker for your reference

I had the same feeling when I brought them, so I investigated custom rear springs. But I never upgraded my wheels so I never had to need to change them.
