VW MK2 GTI 8V Engine 110HP 82KW Plus Ancillaries | eBay
For sale is my trusty Mk2 GTI 8v engine (110hp 82kw), including all K-jet air intake / fuel metering, water piping, engine wiring loom and ancilliaries (e.g. water pump, alternator etc.).
This is a great upgrade for any Mk1, Mk2 or Mk3 Golf. This engine was heaps of fun! Only reason it is for sale is because I am completing a new engine upgrade project and have to move house this weekend. It is in perfect working order. New hydraulic tappets were installed less than 5000km ago!
ENGINE MUST BE PICKED UP BY SUNDAY - I'm moving house. If you can't pick it up by Sunday, don't buy it. I have a block and tackle to help you load it to trailer etc. Pick up is from Fitzroy Victoria. Mon - Fri (6pm - 11pm), Sat - Sun (8am - 11pm). NO POSTAGE, WILL NOT FREIGHT.
Note: Engine is missing mount bracket. This can be sourced from any other VW 8v engine from any wrecker for chump change. Happy to help you find one if need be. Super easy, just ask!
