Front seats sold pending payment. Rears are in very good condition if anyone wants them for $50? If not I'll take them to the UK and get them re-trimmed, I was going to buy a set over there instead

I'm heading overseas to catch some end of season snow in Canada - will keep replying to peoples requests, but can't physically remove and post parts until April 14th - (just in time for VITS!)

Just bumping this up because I might have acquired an entire new roof assembly from the UK - meaning my roof assembly can be parted out - frame, rear window and roof lining - the roof fabric itself is well beyond repair, but there might be some people interested if I'm lucky enough to get this new one.

If you do get the new roof, how much would you like for the locking roof latch (left hand side) off of the old frame??

          Thanks

Sorry dude - the guy backed out of the sale at the last minute. So annoyed, it was a bargain. I'm going to keep looking though, so I'll keep you posted if I do find a new roof soon, it's not on my priorities but I'm always looking out for bargain parts.

I've started stripping parts now - cooling system and alternator already removed. About to remove AC system and gearbox as these have been sold. So I should have clutch/flywheel/starter motor etc out and ready for shipping if anyone wants them? Then I'll move onto engine, exhaust etc. Even things like washer bottle, coolant reservoir are not being re used and are going for pennies so make me some offers

Hello mate. Might b after a few bits n pieces for the 91 Cab I bought yesterday. Top section of timing cover has a hole (?) seemingly caused by the abrasive action of a cable across the top. Anyhow. Just putting my hand up for that and I'm sure other stuff as I get to reacquaint myself with golfs. Sincere thanks.

                    Bugger...
2 days after posting this, my roof latch snapped in half...

                    Thanks anyway...
Good luck with the rest of your sales...

If it came with one - I've got it. I just googled it and only MK2 8Vs came up - but I'll have a look for you for sure.

And that sucks about your roof dude

Little bump - I'm in Melbourne on Saturday May 10th dropping off a few parts - good chance for anyone interested to save on postage!

Bump - I've been thinking and if anyone wants the engine - running fine with new oil and filter - they can have it for free if they pick it up from me in Wodonga VIC - would definitely suit anyone who's planning a drive from Melbourne to Sydney vice Versa - or day trip from Melbourne is 6 hours return. I'd offer to drop it off, but I don't really have a suitable vehicle to transport it.
