Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW [SYD] Genuine VW Battery (used for 9720km since new)

    Selling the OEM battery removed from my Scirocco. In perfect working condition, comes with battery blanket. Bought the car on Dec 6, 2012, and took it out last week. Should last at least another 2 good years.

    Battery details as shown in picture.

    5K0 915 105 G
    12V 72Ah 380A DIN
    640A EN/SAE/GS
    (HVW 906 982 04 0

    Asking for $80 local pick up or PM your offer, understood it is a consumable item so hope this price is reasonable. Sorry cannot ship interstate.

    Reason to sell: Need the battery bay for other mods so bought a smaller replacement battery.

    Where abouts in Sydney are you? I'll check if this is the same battery that a Mk6 GTI uses (i assume it is) then i might grab it.

          Still available. No ones interested for a near new replacement OEM battery? Price is marked down a bit since it is really a waste to leave it there doing nothing
