Selling my 42DD Golf R/Audi S3 specific dump pipe which is less than a year old and has only done about 5,000-6,000km. Purchased through Greg @ Carformance late last year. This dump pipe in resonated configuration currently sells for $855 through the Australian distributor (Carformance VW Golf R 2.0 Mk6 FSI TSI 3" Downpipes dump pipe ) and connects to the factory catback via a reducer.
The resonator helps keep the sound of the dump pipe civilised, especially during cold starts and reduces the raspy-ness on full throttle.
Prior to installing the dump pipe on my car, I had the entire dump pipe ceramic coated by ProCoat (cost $230) in velvet black to help protect against corrosion as well as to reduce under bonnet temps. The pipes were coated inside and out and I have photos to show this. Note that the coating has been scratched in some spots of the bent pipe section that bolts up to the turbo – it’s impossible to install this part without scratching it as there is very little room.
Comes complete with all brackets and bolts etc. Everything is in good working condition.
Item can be picked up from Sydney if needed (Kogarah area) or postage can be sorted at the buyers expense (would be approx $35-40 or so for postage).
I’ll get some better photos soon, but here is what you can expect. Looking for $700.
