This is exactly what I meant in my earlier posts about high pass filter but everyone thought I was retarded! Glad you two get it.Originally posted by kwalsh24 View PostIf they can get a working lpf/hpf inplace of or working with their dsp that would really improve things.
Right now I have my sub levels at -6 bass -2 mid 0 treble +2. Its decent at normal levels, but pounds hard at 18+ levels

Need hpf to filter out the lows from the speakers yet not from the pre amp... That's what it's for, even on basic $50 jb hifi head units!

I never thought you were retarded lol. I just knew at the time ASP or some sort of signal processing option was included. It wasn't until we got the units that I found this feature to be useless in its current state. Sure it seems to have cross over points for low, mids and highs but they do not work properly. Definitely something to add to the list with the whole "bass is overpowering" section.Originally posted by MountainBikeMike View PostThis is exactly what I meant in my earlier posts about high pass filter but everyone thought I was retarded! If you have your GPS antenna hooked up it seems to retrieve the time from that. I noticed that I couldn't change the time recently because in fact it is totally wrong but it wouldn't. However when I first got my unit and didn't have GPS plugged in at first the time was able to be set manually. Still something to add to the list as my GPS time in iGo is right but the DNS time is off by like 8hours!!!Originally posted by xxcynicxx View PostNew "feature". I can't change the system time on the unit. It keeps reverting back to whatever it was before I changed it.
I'll add my issues to the doc.

Wow, I just read this thread after a while away.
I did notice a message about finding a f something cable for my 2009 mk5 that splits two into one or one into two or something into something, but there was a dead link in the reply. Can someone please shed some light onto what this might be? I have seen the link about the antenna adapter, but I thought I didn't need that one...
I am a little surprised and upset that people have pushed sandy so hard that pre-production units have been sent out.
Thanks,
Matt.

So here's a question, what canbus should I be using for my mk5 in that secret window?
Also anyone else getting static feedback in the radio when the GPS is on? I had it on FM radio when the static was on... couldn't test the SD as that's the same card my GPS software is on haha

I don't notice any excessive static from the radio. Just the normal odd FM radio static.Originally posted by kwalsh24 View PostSo here's a question, what canbus should I be using for my mk5 in that secret window?

Hey Modal. I updated the spreadsheet but assume it automatically saves it? can you check.Originally posted by moda View PostYea I added a firmware column.
Strange though, when I hit SD it cycles through all the various inputs (USB/SD/iPod etc)? I'd love an option in the menu to be able to change the behavior of this button, because it's a bit of a pain cycling through those options when I don't use them. I'd use SD or iPod, and that's it.
