Hi DkN,

With the delay to the main unit, what does this do to the accessories? Have they continued work on the Trip Computer and OBDII modules? I'd be interested in picking them up if they are back on the radar.

Their focus on development was entirely on the unit during the delay so I don't believe the accessories have moved any further ahead. I'll probably make another group buy for these two accessories when they become available anyway though, there was a lot of interest for them.

I think we are all getting edgy now, especially as things are so close (I certainly am!) let's all maintain calm and decorum. The more updates we get the better but none of it will make that parcel get here any quicker.

I understand your impatience but I was as much in the dark about this delay as you were. I was clear that for your order to proceed you only needed to pay the $100 deposit though - if it makes you feel better I can refund you the balance until the group buy order is confirmed to have shipped from the factory.

Second, will the voice activation button still work on the steering wheel control? Does this unit have voice activation? Just trying to see what I will lose vs OEM. Looks great though

Maybe I've done too many group buys too notice the length of time for this, but compared to other group buys this isn't a very long wait.

Plus if the specs are as advertised I have no problem waiting for quality.

It will all come to fruition soon....soon!

I did receive the unit today and got it installed in the car. The CAN-Bus issue I had with the old sample unit is fixed but it seems this unit has experimental software that is littered with bugs. I spent the better part of the night playing with it and just finished complaining to the manager.
Long story short the software engineers left the juniors the task of fixing bugs while they moved on to develop the music library functions, only to find that the software now has more bugs than when they left it.

So after a whole night of frustration I now must delay yet again - I apologise and I'm getting sick of hearing myself say this but I have to wait for an updated firmware which I've been told will be worked on tomorrow and be released ASAP.
