Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD VR6 02a newly built gearbox - peloquin, 4.24 ring n pinion

    This gearbox is a leftover from my old build; its been reconditioned with new seals and bearings with the adition of a Peloquin diff and a 4.24 r&p for closer gears.

    I'm asking $2300

    Justification:
    2nd hand 02a ~ $300?
    New Peloquin diff ~ $850
    4.24 r&p ~ $580
    Rebuild including gaskets, seals and installation ~ $1200

    Totaling = $2930

    I will happily organise shipping interstate if need be or local pick up is fine.
    and I will take cash, bank transfer or PayPal.......

          good luck with sale alex, that's a bit of kit for someone, fingers crossed mines is ok, if I was going mental with it I would jump at that. You got any other gear still? I remember you selling stuff a wee while back

            Not sure, I keep flipping the coin on another build, I'm all itchy..... So I've been stupidly holding onto gear...... Depends what you need or want I suppose, hit me up..... I might make another thread soon with the remaining items.......

              I know how that feels mate I got 2 projects on the go im chasing either 5x100 hubs and stubs etc or adapters, just wanna fit the vr6 BBS onto my wee run around Cl so I can get the hideous bob jane wheels off it. I think ill takle Joe up on the swap for his steelies for now lol.
