Volkswagen Racing intake for the Golf R / Scirocco R / GTI Pirelli / GTI 35th Edition / Audi S3 with the EA113 2.0TFSI engine and K04. It would also suit the MK5 GTI if you used a rubber grommet to block off the diverter valve return pipe as this is not needed on cars with K03 turbo. These retail for $975.........sorry i just died of shock........from our friends at APR.
Been fitted to my car for approx 11,000-12,000km or so. This is the original version of the intake which DIDN'T have the fuel trim issues that the current one has, pipe diameter is approx 2.65" ID (will double check tonight) and it has the "proper" writing on the cannister - Volkswagen Racing. Not the silly and incorrect .:R logo that the current ones have.
Condition: Excellent. Im extremely fussy and i always clean and polish the gloss black pipework. You could eat off my engine bay any day of the week so that gives you an idea of how well kept this intake is. Only has one or two little scratches on it and they are not visible once fitted to the car (they are underneath).
What would you get?: The complete VWR intake kit ready to bolt onto the cars listed above. This includes:
- the air filter and cannister with bracket that bolts onto the grill
- all silicone joiners and stainless steel clamps
- the bracket and rubber strap that supports the cannister near the battery
- the L shaped pipe with the MAF housing in it.
- Can of air filter oil for re-oiling the air filter
Other conditions: I have cleaned and re-oiled the air filter and all the pipework and silicone joiners have been cleaned and polished.
Price: $650 and can be picked up in Newcastle or Sydney. Postage to others areas at the buyers cost (i have a box i can use for shipping). Aust Post shipping estimates are approx $30.
