It won't work on your Polo and suspect this may also be the case for the Multivan as these don't have the correct interface/connector for the CANbus gateway (as per a lot of other VW models).
So depending what Golf you're running (either 5/6 are OK) the only other thing you need is a full height MFD.

Are you able to post an autoscan from your Amarok?
Just talking to the auto-polar guys at the moment. They haven't put one in an Amarok before but if you're interested in seeing if you can put one in we can certainly look into it.
First off we just need to find out what CANbus gateway unit you have. I know the head units are compatible as they're just a standard RCD510.
On further investigation (thanks Transporter) I've discovered that in the Amarok the CAN Gateway is integrated into BCM/Cent Conv Module so its not compatible with the Auto-Polar FIS+. This is the same problem as Polo and Transporter (cost saving by combining modules in 1).
Problem with these integrated modules is that there's no header block to plug the FIS+ into. So until the Auto-Polar guys come up with an alternate connector the FIS+ isn't compatible with these vehicles.
