It's this part from here:

Long story short, I should have done a little more research first. Seems the Golf 6 Cab has a MQ250 gearbox, not the required MQ350:

Anyway, if you have the right gearbox and want to grab this I'm looking to recover the $180 it cost me. I'm also happy to help you fit it if you want to come around. After pulling mine out it's much more straight forward than the 28 page instructions make out

Anyway, pick up in Campbelltown (or Sydney CBD near Central during business hours) or post at buyers expense.

Hmmm, considering this fits the Mk4 R32 and the Audi S3 and TT, I'm assuming it would fit my 4Motion Bora. Any ideas?

The dieselgeek site has ones for up to 2007 and then 2008+. Anyone know what the difference is?

Guys, sorry for not replying to anyone yet, been away from the computer for the weekend on family business, but I will reply to everyone today.

I'm going to put this sale on hold for a few days because I'm in talks with Jim at Diesel Geek. I had sent them a quick email saying I'm an idiot and didn't read their description and asked if there was an alternative part I that would fix my gear box... He's now asking for photos to see if he can put something together! Now that's some nice service right there! Until I confirm that it's either not happening or that I don't need to re-use any of these parts I'm going to hold onto this kit. As soon as that's cleared up I'll let you guys know what's happening.

Mate I have had a few dealings with Jim and he is unbelievably good at customer service. Literally the template every other company should follow. Was very stoked and as a result I talk about him and Dieselgeek whenever i can.

If anyone is interested, I stripped out the stock shifter again today so I could take lots of photos to send to Jim, I've also included some side by side shots of the Diesel Geek shifter I have vs the stock one. We will see what Jim has to say, but the design on the MQ250 my Cab looks a lot like the older 5 speed box...
