NSW EOI - Forge TwinTake to suit VW Scirocco R

Let me clarify that this will only fit a Scirocco R. Ive had some PM's asking if it will fit a Golf GTi and Golf R etc. It will NOT fit any other vehicle except for a Scirocco R.

Long story short, my friend purchased a Forge TwinTake for his Mk5 GTi from the USA, after waiting nearly 3 months for it, it finally arrived last week but he was sent one to suit a Scirocco R (so it doesn't quite fit properly on his Mk5 GTI).

He is looking to sell this intake locally - and then just buy another new intake (hopefully he will get the correct one this time). The intake was fitted and then regretfully removed once we realised it wasn't the right one for a MK5 GTI. So it's as good as new.

Part number for this specific intake is: FMIND12K (suits VW Scirocco R only)

Cost is $480 including shipping to NSW / VIC / QLD (NT/SA/WA extra)

Mate, I just had the same scenario but I got offered return postage and a refund for mine. The USA models maf sensor placements are backwards and will throw up an error light, you need to get the kit from the uk or europe.

Are you sure about that.......never seen or heard that before. I dont understand why the MAF would be the other way around in a different country?

The MAF sensor on this one is fine (correct orientation).

Price drop. First post updated. Plently of PM's about it but no one has pulled the trigger yet.

This is $200 cheaper than the price for a new TwinTake, with no waiting time!!!! Need this sold guys and girls. Absolutely nothing wrong with it at all........and its only a few days old!!
