  • NSW NSW: VW Siata 17x7 alloy wheels & tyres + Polo GTI complete front brake assembly

The following parts are from a 2008 Polo GTI that has now been sold:

    (1) A complete set of 4 genuine VW Siata 17 x 7 accessory wheels.
These have the 100 x 5 stud pattern with an ET38 offset that will
work with all 9n Polo GTIs (2006-2009) and all Golf Mk.4s (1999 -2004)

The wheels are immaculate with no gutter rash or marks - and are
currently fitted with Kumho KU31 205x45x17 tyres that have travelled
only 9,400 Kms. These VW Siata wheels were $2200 for the set of 4 at the
time when the car was delivered. A nice upgrade and low cost fix-it for a
Polo GTI or Golf Mk.4 owner who may have gutter rashed their original alloy wheels.

Now priced to sell at $600 for the set of 4 with the Kumho KU31 tyres.
If required - an additional brand new VW Siata wheel without a tyre is availble to
the successful Purchaser for $100, which can be used as a spare wheel in case of
a future indiscretion with a gutter.

The four ImageShack pictures tagged below confirms the condition of both
the VW Siata wheels and the Kumho tyres:

    (2) A complete 2008 Polo GTI 9n front disc brake assembly (for both left & right sides)
of Disc Rotors + Disc Callipers + Disc Pads. These were removed from a Polo GTI
at 4000 Kms to make way for a complete Brembo brake upgrade. A cheap buy at
    $250
for an existing Polo GTI owner with a high kilometre car that would otherwise
require an expensive parts and labour repair bill on their existing brakes. Possibly will fit
Golf Mk.4 GTI cars up to 2004

Given the weight of the 4 VW Siata wheels and the Polo GTI disc brake assemblies - both items really
only suit potential Sydney area purchaser(s) or a Forum member who can do a personal pick-up from the suburb of Turramurra.

For any additional details PM me with your question.

My brother might be keen to take the rims / tyres off your hands to put on his Skoda Fabia. Ive emailed him the link to this page and will let you know if he is keen ASAP. My gf could pickup from you as she works in Sydney and drives through your suburb.

Interested in brake setup (and the Brembo's if you ever sell hahaha!) ... Though being in Melbourne makes it a bit of a pain. I have a friend who is in Albury every weekend, possibly it be cheaper to ship their than to Melb maybe. Could i get a rough weight to figure out shipping?

Matty - While the Polo GTI front brake package fits into a reasonable size carton, I think we are looking at a weight of somewhere in the 30 to 35 Kg range for Rotors, Callipers and Pads. It is too heavy to move through the Post Office and too expensive to move through the freight/courier companies as a casual shipment. If you need to do some maintenance/replacement work on your brakes the package I am selling did only around 3,800 Kms before being replaced with the Brembo's. The Polo GTI with the Brembo's has been sold - so don't get excited about the Brembo's.

I'll call up a courier i use and see how much they quote and we can go from there I'll get back to this post tomorrow.

My cars done 82k now with a fair bit of hard driving, the pads are EBC Greens, plenty of meat, but bite is gone. Also pedals a bit spongey, the rotors look fairly worn in... so Thought might aswell replace with everything stock, fresh sheet coz the calipers will need a re-co anywho too.

And, aww hehe all good. Would stopped the GTI like hitting a wall with those brembo's :|
