NSW Group Buy: Kufatec E-MFA - speed, boost, rpm, temp on your MFA

Hi, I'm organising a group buy for the Kufatec E-MFA. Its basically an add-in device for that plugs into the Comfort/Infotainment CAN-Bus and it adds a page to your MFA (high line only) that displays an accurate digital speed readout as well as temps, RPM and boost. I dont think the boost display works on the GTI TFSIs though (could be wrong), only TSI and diesel.

Its typically plugged in behind the radio but you could wire it into the Can-Bus somewhere else if you wanted.



Price is as listed on the Kufatec US website (US$153 or roughly AU$150 including bank fees), I will get money off you for the purchase of the units and pay for the shipping myself. When the units are in Australia I'll get the remaining money off you for shipping and post it to you (or sort out pickup/drop off).

I'm estimating the total shipping cost to your door will be $30-50, but more likely $30. Shipping is at least $125 if you buy direct from the Kufatec website.

Will take 3-4 weeks for Kufatec to get the units in.

Its really easy, u just need some torx tools to remove the screws. Plugs straight in between radio and harness.

Will this work on a Golf GTI Pirelli with standard 6 disc cd player?

On there site it got

Does your car have the same height trip computer as per their photos? If it doesn't then it's useless.

1K0 is the base part number for the MK5 Golf and Jetta. Don't let that concern you

As long as you have the high-line display as shown in the pic (except it will be orange) it should work. Should be no problem with 6-Disc CD player, I think it conflicts with Premium factory Bluetooth though (as it says on the Kufatech site).

Hey mate, after much consideration from installing my aftermarket RNS look a like headunit plus the unsurety that the boost gauge will work, I'm gonna have to pull out as I'd much rather have my new headunit with everything else working than just a speed and maybe and maybe not the boost reading. Pricing is awesome though. Just had a bitch of a time getting all the wiring etc to fit so don't want to pull anything out any time soon let alone adding more bulk.
