Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    TAS mk1 2 3 1.8L engine $400

    1.8L from mk3 golf

    low kays (around 120k)
    Newish waterpump (12 months ago)
    bare engine, no alternator, clutch setup, dizzy ect. just block and head,
    New exhaust studs and nuts, new rocker cover studs and nuts,
    good timing belt,

    engine ran great,

    Will pack on a crate, but buyer to pay and organise shipping ( Courier, Parcel Delivery & Shipping Services in Australia:Same Day Delivery ) might do it?

    Engine code is ABS, think its the 66kw version pretty snappy in a mk1

            you sure this isnt the adz block thats in the 1.8l out of a mk3 and cordoba ?

              its from a Mk3 or a cordoba, either one. Got it from Camden GTi,

                yeah you will prob find that the block is an ADZ engine code
