Hey mate, you inbox is full at the moment so cant reply. Was going to ask:
By vacuum tube do you mean the vacuum diaphragm thing that hangs off the side of it? Does it still have the points and condenser bits fitted? Do you know how it ran before it was taken out, did eveything move correctly, ie vacuum advance/retard not get stuck or anything?
