Do you have the handbrake cover? If so, and it's not busted, I'll take it.

I'll give you the tip, a holden camira brake handle cover works better.

odd question but does the ignition barrel/stalk come with an original key? if so, does it match the door handles?
Driving the coal. Low and rattly.

          ignition tree

I have a pair of keys for the ignition. I don't think they match the door handles though. I'll check.

I will be parting the engine parts (head, valve cover, oil pan, manifolds) if no-one wants the engine in one piece. Let me know if you're interested in either the whole donk or some parts.

Will be removing the exhaust and cutting out the windscreen (with rubber seal intact) and the firewall splash guard this week, once i find my angle grinder.

The perfectly straight, rust free bonnet is now on the market since I don't need it to cover anything. Accepting offers.

After much effort, I now have the steering column (and universal joint) available. Its in good condition.

                    Windscreen and perfect rubber seal

I have just removed the Mk1 windscreen and rubber seal fully intact, no cracks.

                    make an offer.

                    Photos are up.

I still have plenty of parts, including a few that are not posted here: Flickr: BJIH_86's Photostream

Others include: drive shafts, windscreen, 5 steelies, oil pan and plug, driver's side hub, fuel tank, 4 sp manual gearbox, gear linkages and the whole bottom end (1.6L).

Do you still have the chrome grill trim? Very Keen to take it off your hands!
                              Cheers

I think i just realised I threw away my GTI centre console gauges, once upon a time, thinking they were useless. Ugh.
