              your tdi already has this intake.

              All the PD 8V's I've seen already have this intake. The only 8V diesels that dont have this style intake are VE pumped mk3 and 4, and some PD's overseas.

                Unfortunately, it turns out that I already have one of those inlet manifolds on my car!

                Duh - I should have checked.

                Not your fault - completely mine.

                I wonder if the std factory power rating (77kW) of my engine is realistic? (It dyno'd at 77kW at the wheels.) Maybe in fact it's closer to 130hp (97kW) and that's why they used this manifold as standard?
