Keep these Alex, I'm sure when you get coils that they'll fit really nicely. These would look so nice on your car. I'd be keeping them and putting coils on then test fitting when the coils are fitted.

As I said the other night, mine stuck out around 10mm when 4wd spec and when I tried them on in a woolworths carpart with no tyres, but when I put the coils on they sat fine. Most cars lowered on coils with aftermarket wheels don't have that much strut-tyre clearance if that's what you're referring to by scrubbing.

              Good luck either way.

Whats scrubbing the tire on inner plastic gaurd or the strut tower? Could try a 215/40/ 18 tyre. But I dont mind a little poke myself GL with your sale. RW makes some sweet wheels!

Serious question. Rubber was $800 and rims were 800. done maybe 5000 km on them, and they are thinner so would fit right on.

I still got my 17's to run on for a while, so would be happy to work something out. Unless u dont like my rs4's :\ :'(
And I'm not you buddy, Guy.

Just read through this thread and I can 't believe you are selling these. You obviously really like them and it took a lot of effort to get them here. If you sell them what are you going to replace them with?

You must realize that if you are going to lower a car & fit different sized wheels you are going to encounter some issues. That's all part & parcel of the fun when you're modding a car. It's not about the wheels you fit, it's about how you fit them.

If they rub the arches, get them rolled. If they scrub the inner arches take out the arch liner. If they only rub on full lock you are doing well. How often & for how long do you use full lock?

If you get them fitted you'll be a hero, women will flock to you & all your peers will look up to you. Remember If you ain't rubbing you ain't dubbing!

                              x2

Just put them on Alex, it will look hot

Dad's 19x8.5 ET45 (on a GTI) poked but now the fronts sit flush and the rears tuck in (could actually use a small spacer) after the installation of KW V3's.
