  • SOLD Raderwerks 1-Eleven S 18x8.5 ET45

I received these wheels brand new last night and upon trying them on, they protrude about 10mm from my guards. Unfortunately, this isn't the look I was going for so I've decided to sell them.

I'm really crappy about this, I love these wheels sooooo much and I really want them for my car, they just don't fit!

Here's a link of the rims: Click.

They are so new, two of them haven't even arrived! I've only had one wheel on the car to try them on. Asking price is $1,500 (not asking any more than what I paid for them, shipping was $576USD).

Would prefer a local buyer but I'd be happy to split the cost of shipping 50%.

These rims are an awesome design and Raderwerks make quality gear.

They're not flush on my 2010 Jetta 2.0TSI (the one in my sig).

And yeah, they used FedEx for the shipping.

Did you actually put weight on the corner of the car you test fitted a wheel to?

i saw a video of a FWD VW going down on the air ride (and doms Passat more recently), its amazing how much the fronts 'suck' in when weight is put on the wheel and then the car is lowered further.

X3... I had about 6mm of protruding on my Twists on a block of wood. They pulled in about 5mm when I got tyres on them and had them mounted. Up to you though man. It's a tough call.

It really sucks. I might have to go get the cheapest, nastiest 225/40 tire I can find just for fitment testing.

8.5 at ET45 should poke around 3mm or so. Nothing like 10mm? It all makes sense once the car is lower.

Call up some tire places tomorrow, see if they've got a worn 225/40/18 for dirt cheap. I can ask up my way. Otherwise there's some garbage Triangle tyres on eBay for $80 + freight.

Etires or something like that at Virginia said they can fit a cheapie for $115, might take it up there on Saturday... But I'll be calling around to see if anywhere local can do it cheaper.

Even if you have to run a deg or so of camber you can get them to fit Im sure
