Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I'm selling my 17" BBS RS

They are in New Zealand but I will happily ship to Australia. I think shipping is around $40 - 60 per wheel.

$1 reserve so highest bidder takes them!

Just out of curiousity, how hard would it be to fit these things to a 2.0T Jetta? Are adapters available? Sorry, i'm still learning... haha

        ^^^

you would just run wobble bolts mate... if you run an adaptor you need to take off the width to the offset... so usual minimum adaptor is 10mm so need to take that off the ET for true new offset...

Well if Doms out of the running...

Is it possible to get 5x100 to 5x114.3 adapters? or do you have to get 5x100 to 5x110 and then wobble bolts?

Better question, can i get them on to my 5x100 car? and if so best way to do it?

adapters are normally around 25mm. can get bigger, but often not much smaller. (20mm is the smallest i've heard of)

if the wheels are flat backed you might be able to get them redrilled, which brings me onto a question for the OP: are the wheels flat backed???
