Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

BBS RG-R 717 17x7.5" w. tyres - suit mk4 Golf/Bora, Polo (Lake Macquarie/Newcastle)

    NSW BBS RG-R 717 17x7.5" w. tyres - suit mk4 Golf/Bora, Polo (Lake Macquarie/Newcastle)

    Hey folks

    I posted these up a while back but I can't see the thread any more. They're still available.

    They are BBS RG-R 717, which is a one-piece forged wheel with the following specs:

    Size: 17 x 7.5"
    Offset: ET 38
    Stud pattern: 5x108
    Centrebore: 65.1

    The stud pattern is Volvo/Ford Focus, so I have custom made 15mm hub-centric adapters for 5x100, front and rear (quality made in the USA, they cost a bomb). They will be included along with the set of McGard locking nuts shown in the photos, and the M14 bolts for mounting the adapters to the hubs.

    They do have some minor rash on the lips here and there, and some scratches in the centres. But overall they still look decent. Structurally, they are perfect.

    The tyres are Pirelli Cinturato P7. They have a small amount of tread left but they are a bit old now, so they do need replacing soon.

    I'm going back to stock so I'm selling these to fund a new set of 16" tyres for my factory rims.

    Take them away for $800 ONO.

    Located in the Lake Macquarie/Newcastle area.
