That's a brash statement that, I fitted these at pre delivery , more than likely whilst you were at pre school. It was common place to have a sunroof, measured and cut out by VW techs at pre delivery as well as mudflaps, plates, speakers, aeriels, radios etc, not like the pre deliveries nowadays, bum wipe and all good.
I had a GT2 Rocco and It had a britax roof.

I don't care who fitted the sunroof, a dealer employee is not factory.Imho I think the flat glass is a giveaway to its cheap Australian origins.
My comment about a fool relates to one of the previous owners who desicrated a great motor vehicle having someone cutting a hole in its roof.
A VW tech (a motor mechanic to the rest of the world) would be a wasted talent cutting out holes in sheet metal let alone fitting mudflaps.
As for the age comment you wouldn't know how old I am so why try and guess,as for pre deliveries when did you last work at a dealer,I still do and we are very thorough.

Sunroof, with English Glass, was fitted pe delivery, in England.
Some people have no idea, really.
