Hi, just wondering in the 300+ km if there were any rebuilds or re conds done on the motor or gear box

AFAIK, the engine is original hasn't been rebuilt. Not sure about gearbox though, it's as smooth as butter so it might be replaced by previous owner, but I really don't know.

Trying to sell - 1986 SA imported Mk2 GTI

Bump to EOI again, although I'm still not keen to sell.

Fresh from oven - 12 months rego just done TODAY. Asking price is adjusted accordingly.


A few update since my initial EOI ->

All new ignition component - spark plug, lead, distributor cap and rotor.
Added 3 gauge setup.
Brand new water pump + thermostat + coolant.
This is not a particularly fast car, I have just kept maintain it as a reliable daily and fun car.
If you want a fast car, get a Mk7 golf R

Could be a mis-understanding, I mean my son has just smashed his car so I need to hang on with the Mk2 for another 2 weeks so he has time to buy his next car. Anyway, your mate decided to buy a wrx and don't want a Mk2 anymore.
